A.D. Miles began his career by performing stand-up comedy in New York City at comedy clubs including Caroline's, Luna Lounge and Boston Comedy Club while writing and acting in his own short films. His first short film, "Ray Has Sex," debuted at the 1997 U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and was later expanded into a half-hour pilot for MTV titled "This Is Ray."He also wrote and starred in the short, "Girl Go Boom," which was featured in the 2000 Sundance Film Festival.
a director, Miles worked on several short films for Robert Smigel's "TV Funhouse" for COMEDY CENTRAL.
His feature film credits include Henry Bean's "The Believer," winner of the dramatic competition at Sundance 2001, Spike Lee's "Bamboozled," Jill Sprecher's "Thirteen Conversations About One Thing," "Wet Hot American Summer" written by David Wain and Michael Showalter and many others.
Currently, Miles is starring in "Dog Bites Man" for COMEDY CENTRAL which will premiere in June 2006.
