Bengt Washburn Biography
Bengt Washburn (pronounced "bent") is a self-proclaimed unaccomplished Mormon. His act has been described as intelligent, whereas Bengt himself is usually described as ditzy, neurotic and logistically impaired. Bengt's show is constructed out of his mistakes, all the details of the "carefully crafted series of unfortunate decisions" that are his life.
A prolific comic, he has produced a DVD, "Mormon Meets World", and two CDs, "Get Bengt" and "Hell Bengt". Both CDs can be heard on XMRadio. Bengt is a former winner of the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition. He has also been heard on "The Bob and Tom Show". His ever-evolving act is sometimes topical, often autobiographical, at times poignant, mostly true and of course very, very, funny.
