I started in stand-up comedy because my girlfriend broke up with me. At the time, i was crushed. every time I talked to anyone about it, they would laugh. My pain came out as funny to everyone else. before long I tried an open Mic and was hooked.
I was raised very religious and my Mother expected me to become a priest. And, i probably would have if I hadn't discovered girls at age 13 and masturbation later that summer.
I think I was a pretty regular comic for years talking about the same stuff everyone did. But, I grew up and started caring about stuff, so I think my comedy became more socially aware. I have been a former runner up in both the San Francisco comedy competition and the Seattle competition. San Francisco is my home. I love the city and the local clubs that support my stand-up style.
