Juston McKinney Biography

In 1997 Juston turned in his gun and badge and left the dangerous streets of rural Maine where he worked as a police officer and moved to the quiet community of Queens, New York. By 1998 he had worked his way into the weekend line-up at the Comic Strip, Stand-Up New York and Caroline's on Broadway. The clubs weren't the only one's that recognized his talent as he was given development deals from Warner Brothers, CBS Productions and Comedy Central.

In 2001 he moved to Los Angeles and wrote and performed his one-man show "My Brother's Father," at the HBO workspace and opening night he received a double standing ovation.

As a stand-up he has appeared on a half dozen Comedy Central shows including his half-hour "Comedy Central Presents." He has appeared numerous times on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and is part of the "Blue Collar Comedy Next Generation," which aired on TBS.

His TV and movie credits include: "The King of Queens," the Sidney Lumet drama "100 Centre Street" and "Go Jimmy Go." Most recently, he will appear in the Kevin James movie, "The Zoo Keeper."

Juston's latest one-hour special "Juston McKinney: A Middle Class Hole," airs on Comedy Central and will be released as his new DVD/CD.

There's all kinds of things I'm trying to do to save money. I got two dogs, and every month I would take them to the vet and have the vet clip their nails. And I'll start next month -- I'm putting them down.

Juston McKinney - A Middle Class Hole

Be careful what you wish for! Raising a family in the middle class sounds like a nice idea but what Juston brings to light in hilarious fashion is that a life of wife, house, kids, and dogs is no picnic.
