Lisa DeLarios Biography
The comedy of Lisa deLarios saunters through a maze that begins with classical grace and ends at modern irony. Hardly ever is true whimsy this quiet.
Beginning with a childhood in East Texas that has become an adulthood in New York City, her thinking is equal parts natural and man-made. A bohemian at heart, she has wowed audiences on both coasts like a comedy gypsy. Bringing a turn-of-the-century modesty to an art form badly in need of such, Lisas timelessness has not been eroded by the vulgarity du jour. Her delivery is comfortable but with bite, much like catching crabs from a used pair of pants.
Lisa has performed at the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival and on Comedy Centrals Live at Gotham.
