Sean Crespo Biography

Boston-born Sean Crespo began performing stand up at 16 and trained as an actor, at both Emerson College and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts...after which he found his way to Los Angeles and began working as a writer for a then re-launching National Lampoon as well as with Troy Miller (of Mr. Show fame), on a pilot based on his and his writing partner Dan Bialek's former jobs as night security guards at Warner Brothers.

A fire on the lot then put that dream on a crisp, blackened, and permanent hiatus. Sean has since written for Nick Jr. (Piper O'Possum), developed pitches for Scholastic Inc, co-wrote and starred in the award-winning short film series I Am Drugs (FUSE), the '06 relaunched Cracked Magazine, Time Warner's Office Pirates, and Jest Magazine.

He is currently a contributor to the Onion New Network and continues making short films for his creative home Drink At Work Productions, as well as working on a Drink At Work branded book.

His web series "No Prior Knowledge" is available on the hugely popular site "Television Without Pity" which was recently devoured by NBC Universal Bravo. Comglomo, Ho!

You can also catch him in Daily Show Co-creator Lizz Winstead's sketch show "Shoot the Messenger".
