Wendy Spero Biography
Wendy Spero has been featured on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, VH1's All Access series, and NBC's Law and Order: Criminal Intent. She was a regular on the Food Network's Hot Off the Grill with Bobby Flay and recently taped four episodes as a series regular on an original sitcom for the We (Women's Entertainment) Network.
Her one woman show, Microthrills, won "Best Solo Show" at the 2003 ECNY awards and her current solo show, Who's Your Daddy? (which has been playing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since September) was recently featured in both TimeOut NY, The NY Post, and The New Yorker. Back Stage Magazine listed her as one of the "Top Ten Standout Stand-ups Worth Watching" and she was just named "Best Female Comic of 2003" by TimeOut NY
